Asheville -- Asheville Police Department Report July 14, 2021

Asheville Police Department reported arrest of a man pulled a concealed gun on another after an argument on Tunnel Road in Asheville. There was no gun fire involved.

An argument between two men at 190 Tunnel Road resulted in one pulling out a gun and pointing it at the other. Fortunately, the gun was not fired, and no one was injured. The man that pointed the gun, Noah Alexander Zolnoski, was charged and arrested on July 14.
He is currently in jail on a $50,000 bond. He was charged with:
Possession of a firearm by a felon
Carry a concealed weapon
Resist, delay, obstruct
The Asheville Police Department is committed to addressing gun violence in our community. Since January 1, 2021, APD has responded to 315 calls for service reporting shots fired or a person shot. In addition, 21 people have been shot in Asheville during the same time period.
