Rutherford County Sheriff's Office: Man Wanted in Shooting

Rutherford County -- Rutherford County Sheriff's Office:

On 07/13/2021, at 09:24 PM, deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 202 Misty Lane, Rutherfordton, in reference to a subject that had been shot.  Upon arrival, deputies located Roger Charles Ledford Jr. laying on the ground and suffering from a gunshot wound to the right arm and chest. Deputies applied a tourniquet to Ledford’s arm to help control the bleeding.  Ledford was flown to Spartanburg Regional where he underwent surgery.  At this time, the injuries do not appear to be life threatening. 

 
Warrants have been issued on Dusty Lane Jolley, a 48 year old white male for Assault with a Deadly Weapon inflicting Serious Injury.  Jolley’s last known address is in Chesnee, South Carolina.
