Marion Man Faces Trespassing and Drug Charges

McDowell County -- September 20, 2024: McDowell County Sheriff's Office: A Marion man faces trespassing and drug

possession charges.

Joseph Allen Carver is charged with Felony Possession of Meth and misdemeanor Second Degree Trespassing.  On September 10th, deputies conducted a property check on Old Morganton Road for possible trespassing. Carver was found inside of an abandoned trailer on the property. A search turned up suspected methamphetamine.

He received a $10,000 secured bond.
