The James Vester Miller Historic Walking Trail Awarded a Buncombe County Tipping Point Grant
Buncombe County -- October 12, 2023: Buncombe County Government News: The James Vester Miller Historic Walking Trail was awarded a Buncombe County Tipping Point Grant.
This allows the community of all ages to experience the insides of four beautiful historic Black churches on the trail & learn their history. The James Vester Miller traveling mural, created by local artisan Jenny Pickens by way of an ArtsAVL grant, will be on display at one of the churches throughout the exhibit. Bring family & friends and stop by churches to see the beautiful craftsmanship inside and out.
