Rutherford County -- July 18, 2025: Press Release Rutherford County Sheriff's Office: The A.C.E. Team of the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office has learned about a large-scale fentanyl distribution operation based at 252 Brooklyn Road in Forest City.

A.C.E. detectives performed a "knock and talk" at the residence after many days of surveillance and multiple traffic stops related to the inquiry.

The male occupant was called, and a female was found on the scene.  He told detectives to get a warrant and refused to permit a search.
A search warrant was obtained  and executed.  Investigators found a concealed chamber in the house that held the following things after conducting a thorough search:

668 grams of fentanyl (1.4 Pounds)
1.7 grams of marijuana
1.2 grams of methamphetamine
2 firearms
Digital scales and drug paraphernalia
$1,137 in cash
Multiple Venmo and CashApp cards used in suspected transactions

Trafficking Opium or Heroin
Possession of Methamphetamine
Maintain VEH/DWELL/PLACE CS
Possession of Firearm by Felon

Simple Possession of SCH IV CS
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Both received a $1.5 Million Secured Bond
