Two People in Macon County Face Drug Charges

Macon County -- September 26, 2023: Sunday morning two people were arrested after a traffic stop by law enforcement.

According to the Macon County Sheriff's Office Michael Keener and Amy Gibson face multiple related narcotic charges.

Michael Keener has been charged with:
⁃ 2 counts of Trafficking Fentanyl
⁃ Possession of Methamphetamine
⁃ Maintaining Vehicle/Dwelling Place
⁃ Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
His bond is set at $2,000,000, secured.
Amy Gibson has been charged with:
- 2 counts of Trafficking Fentanyl
⁃ Possession of Methamphetamine
⁃ Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
⁃ Failure to Appear on a Felony
Her bond is set at $2,000,000 secured.
21 grams of Fentanyl and 4 grams of methamphetamine were seized during this traffic stop.
