Asheville -- March 1, 2023: The Asheville Police Department is looking into a shooting
that happened early on Saturday

morning and left one man with non-life-threatening injuries.

Around 3:02 a.m. on February 25, APD Patrol Officers were called to the Maple Crest Apartments on Lee Garden Lane
due to reports of gunfire. Officers discovered that the man had driven himself to Mission Hospital to receive treatment
for gunshot wounds to the face and shoulder after being shot. Police searched the area and discovered three bullet casings and structural damage.

APD Detectives are asking for the public’s help. If anyone has any information about this incident, you are encouraged to contact APD at (828) 252-1110.
