
Woman Charged with Felonty Failure to Register as Sex Offender
McDowell County -- This morning, the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office reported Wendi Danielle Unick, 50, of Nebo, was charged with felony
Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. She was given a secured bond of $20,000.
On January 27, Deputy Bradley Biddix spoke with Unick at her residence about a failure to report to the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office in
December of 2024, and register as a sex offender. Deputy Biddix advised her to report to the Sheriff’s Office later that afternoon to register, but she did not comply.
Unick was arrested on February 5, 2025.
