Update on Blue Ridge Pkwy Laurel Fork Bridge Construction

Blue Ridge Parkway: National Parks Service: August 23, 2024: We're excited to share that we're nearing a major

milestone in the Laurel Fork Bridge construction! 

The superstructure segments are almost fully installed. Just a few more pre-cast segments to go before we add the final touches with cast-in-place concrete to each end and center of the bridge. That’s a major achievement toward reaching the finish line and having the bridge complete by next summer.

This project is funded by the Great American Outdoors Act.
