FAYETTEVILLE -- There is a new attraction at the Airborne & Special Forces Museum that is so realistic, thos suffering from post-traumatic stress from the military experience, may not want to use it.

 

The Pritzker Simulater is named after Jennifer Pritzker, of the 82nd Airborn Division veteran whose foundation donated money. The Simulor opens up Saturday.

The begins during D-Day over Normandy, France, everyone will ride with the 101st Airborne Division in a glider towed behind a cargp plane. Also a paraptrooper jumping into Koreas, a helicopter flight in Vietnam; then riding with soldiers through a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

Hours open are 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, Sunday is 12:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Monday. Tues. Wed, Th, Fri, 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
