Haywood County -- January 9, 2025: Property tax listing ensures fair and accurate taxation, helping to fund vital services that benefit

our entire community. This happens every year and applies to

personal property (such as untagged vehicles, boats, trailers, and mobile homes) and business personal property (such as machinery & equipment, fixtures, computers, farm equipment, and rental furnishings).

To make the process easier, we’ve added more convenient locations this year. Check out the options below and choose the one that works best for you:
 

Haywood County Historic Courthouse
 215 N. Main Street, Suite 220, Waynesville, NC
 Monday – Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM
 

UPDATED LOCATION: Maggie Valley Town Hall
 3987 Soco Road, Maggie Valley, NC
 Thursday, January 9th | 9 AM – 4:30 PM
 

Waynesville Library
 678 S. Haywood Street, Waynesville, NC
 Saturday, January 25th | 9 AM – 1 PM
 

Please Note: The Saturday, January 11th session at the Waynesville Library has been cancelled due to the potential for inclement weather.

Deadline Reminder

The deadline to submit your listing forms is January 31st. Avoid penalties by submitting your forms on time. If you need more time, request an extension in writing by January 31st. Approved extensions give you until April 15th to file.
