SC Man Charged in False Pardee Hospital Bomb Threat Report

Hendersonville -- July 5, 2024: Hendersonville Police Department Press Release: After a thorough investigation by the

Hendersonville Police Department, the suspect in the bomb threat incident at Pardee Hospital on 05/18/2024, was identified as James Vigil of Greer, South Carolina.

Vigil has been arrested on one felony count of making a false report concerning a destructive device (bomb threat). The warrant was served on 07/01/2024 and is now pending adjudication in court. It was determined that Vigil acted alone during this incident, and Pardee Hospital, staff, patients, and first responders were never in danger.
