Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrests in Jackson County
Jackson County -- June 27, 2024: Yesterday the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Criminal Suppression Unit (CSU)
conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the Whittier area. JCSO K9 Ares, was deployed and K9 Ares alerted to the presence of narcotics. The JCSO CSU conducted a search of the vehicle and located approximately 15.96
Grams of suspected Fentanyl and 8.25 grams of suspected Methamphetamine.

Trafficking, Opium or Heroin by Transportation
Conspire to Traffic Opium/Heroin
Possession of CS on Jail Premises
Possession of Fentanyl
Maintain Vehicle CS
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
