South Carolina Murder Fugitive Arrested in Asheville
Asheville -- June 27, 2024: Asheville Police Department Press Release: A fugitive wanted for murder in South Carolina
was apprehended Tuesday morning in East Asheville with the assistance of an APD task force member of the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Taskforce.
An APD task force member worked with the Greenville Police Department and other task force members to locate and arrest Eric Devon Davis Jr. The U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Taskforce located and took Davis into custody at a hotel on Tunnel Road on the morning of June 25th.
Davis was wanted by the Greenville Police Department for a murder that took place on June 19th at a Greenville hotel.
The Asheville Police Department would like to thank the law enforcement agencies involved in the apprehension and the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Taskforce, who apprehend the most dangerous and violent fugitives in our region, making our communities safer.
