Jackson County Sheriffs Arrest Man in Shooting

Jackson County -- June 21, 2024: On May 29/2024, Jackson County Deputies responded to a gunshot

in the Glenville neighborhood. Deputies arrived and discovered a male victim with one gunshot wound.

EMS and fire departments responded and treated the victim. He was airlifted to Mission for treatment and then released. The other three passengers in the vehicle were not hurt.

Detectives launched an immediate investigation, following information offered by other witnesses in the vehicle. Following an extensive examination, it appeared that this was a case of road rage.

The suspect has been identified by detectives as Michael Brennan Kinsey. Investigators charged
Mr. Kinsey with the following:

Attempted First Degree Murder
