
Man Faces 29 Charges in Buncombe County Investigation
Buncombe County -- April 8, 2024: Press Release In January of 2024, the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office
was notified of a breaking and entering incident that occurred in the Alexander Community of Buncombe County.
During the investigation that lasted several months, Detectives in the Criminal Investigation Division identified Bradley David Quick as the suspect. He has now been charged with the following 29 crimes by the Sheriffโs Office and is being held in the Detention Facility on a $60,000 bond:
โข 2 counts of Felony Breaking and Entering
โข 2 counts of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering
โข 1 count of Felony Larceny of a Firearm
โข 6 counts of Felony Forgery of Instrument
โข 6 counts of Felony Uttering forged Instrument
โข 10 counts of Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretenses
โข 2 counts of Felony Identity Theft
During the course of the investigation, Detectives executed three search warrants and discovered that more than $10,000 worth of property was stolen by Mr. Quick during the break-ins. The stolen property was then sold or pawned to multiple pawn shops in Buncombe County. Most of the property has now been recovered and returned to the victims.
Detectives also learned that Quick stole multiple personal checks. Using those personal checks, he was able to steal over $3,500 by forging and uttering the checks at multiple financial institutions in Buncombe County.
