Franklin -- March 22, 2024: At about 4:38 AM on Thursday, the Fire Department (FPD) was dispatched to a complaint

in the vicinity of Lake Emory Road, pertaining to a potential domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers spotted Casey Charles Smith and a female individual within a collection of storage units. As the officers approached, Casey ran on foot, but was caught and promptly arrested by the officers. The individual was formally charged with possessing drug paraphernalia, as well as two charges of resist/obstruct/delay. The bond was established with a secured amount of $1,000. Later in the morning, he submitted a bond and subsequently received his release. 

At approximately 11:42 AM on the aforementioned day, the Fire Department (FPD) promptly addressed the same site in response to a reported domestic disturbance. The location was found to be occupied by Casey Charles Smith and Colton Lee Smith, along with an additional female individual. 

Additional inquiry resulted in the identification of about 55 grams of methamphetamine by the Officers. Both Casey and Colton were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Casey was issued a "no bond", and Colton was issued a $100,000 secured bond.

No instances of assault were observed against either female individual present throughout both occasions.
