Two Face Drug Charges in Rutherford County After Traffic Stop

Rutherford County -- February 16, 2024: Deputies from the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office performed a traffic check on a vehicle driven by Tracy Marques Withrow while patrolling in Ellenboro on 02/15/24.

Deputies launched an investigation on the vehicle and its occupants, which resulted in the finding of baggies containing fentanyl and methamphetamine. Additionally, it was revealed that Erica Hope Wease, one of the individuals there, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

Erica Hope Wease was arrested and charged with the following:

Felony Possession Schedule II Controlled Sub (X3)
Failure To Appear on Misdemeanor
Erica was given a $5,500 unsecured bond and a $500 secured bond

Tracy Marques Withrow was arrested and charged with the following:
Possess Schedule II Controlled Substance
Possess Schedule I Controlled Substance
Drive W/O 2 Headlamps
Tracy was given a $25,000 unsecured bond
