Woman Found Stabbed During a Home Robbery in McDowell County

McDowell County -- June 7, 2023: Indictments for First Degree Burglary, Assault on a Female, and Resisting a Public Officer were filed against Eddie Dean Prince, 51, of Marion. 

On the 22nd of May, McDowell County Sheriff's was dispatched to a house in Nebo where a break-in was possibly taking place. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been stabbed. During a conducting a search of the house a man was seen, running into the woods. 

Prince was found later and taken into custody and is held on a $75,000 secured bond.
