News: March 20, 2023 Perrigo Company plc has issued a recall for specific lots of its
Gerber® Good Start® SootheProTM

Powdered Infant Formula in the United States.

The recall comes after the company's manufacturing facility in Gateway Eau Claire, Wisconsin produced the formula between January 2-18, 2023. The affected products were purchased after March 5, 2023.

The recall is due to concerns over potential contamination of the formula with Cronobacter sakazakii, a bacterium that can cause severe and even deadly infections in infants. Perrigo Company has stated that there have been no reports of illness associated with the recalled products at this time.
