Haywood Christian Academy Teacher Charged: Indecent Liberties with a Child

Macond County -- February 4, 2023: The Macon County Sheriff's Office's Special Victims Unit's
investigation 

of an allegation of sexual misconduct on February 2, 2023 led to the arrest of Evan Jordan Jensen.

Jensen was charged with indecent liberties with a child, a felony count. He was given a $20,000 secured bond.
Detectives learned over the course of the investigation, that Jensen is a current employee of at Haywood Christian Academy and a former youth pastor in Macon County. 

Jensen was released on bond and scheduled to be back in court February 9, 2023.
