Macon County NC Reports Additional Deaths Related to COVID-19
Macon County -- Macon County Health Department Press Release March 7, 2022
Macon County Public Health received notification that two Macon County residents, over 65 who were diagnosed with COVID-19, have passed away. To protect the privacy of the families, no additional information will be released. This brings Macon County to one hundred and four (104) deaths related to COVID-19.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with these families” said Health Director, Kathy McGaha. McGaha continued, “We have seen a significant decline in COVID-19 cases; however, residents can continue to protect themselves by receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and booster if eligible.”
