Healthcare workers and residents of long-term care facilities are prioritized first in Phase 1a:

Health care workers administering vaccine
Long-term care staff and residents—people in skilled nursing facilities and in adult, family and group homes.

It will likely take several weeks before all groups in Phase 1a are vaccinated. We are not compiling a waitlist for those in future phases who wish to be vaccinated. Please do not contact the health department asking to be added to a waitlist.

We realize that appointments will need to be made for vaccinations and we’re now considering the best way to accomplish that. We will share information about the receipt of the vaccine, the groups being prioritized at any given time and how others can access it when possible.

Public Health, along with its many partners, has been planning for weeks. There are still many unanswered questions about vaccine availability including when it will be provided and how much might be received in the shipments.
