Buncombe Couty NC Center -- Getting to certain parts of Leicester using public transportation will get easier starting next year. On Nov. 5, Buncombe County Commissioners unanimously approved helping fund the City of Ashevilleโ€™s bus system to expand coverage on route W4. The nearly $29,000 will help fund an extension of two miles and four stops for seven-day service to: Erwin Middle and High schools, the Villas at Fallen Spruce, and Carmel Ridge Apartments.

The new routes are slated to begin Jan. 5, 2020 and will run Mondays-Saturdays, 6 a.m.-11:55 p.m. and on Sundays, 8:40 a.m.-6:40 p.m. You can see a map of the extended route below. For more information about bus schedules, maps, and fees, click  Here
