Macon-Southern Jackson-Transylvania-
Including the cities of Faust, Highlands, Kyle, Rainbow Springs,
and Cashiers

...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH EARLY
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON ABOVE 3500 FEET...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible
  above 3500 feet.

* WHERE...High elevations above 3500 feet in Buncombe, Graham,
  Haywood, Macon, Madison, Jackson, Swain, Transylvania, and Yancey
  Counties.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
  especially for high-profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared for possible power outages. Take time now to fasten or
shelter loose objects in a safe location prior to the onset of high
winds.
