
Three Arrested in Assault and Robbery on Woman in Asheville
Asheville -- Press Release: The Asheville Police Department has charged three persons in connection with an assault and robbery that took
place at an Asheville convenience store Friday
night and is asking for the public’s help locating them.
Asheville Police responded to a convenience store located near the 40 block of Merrimon Avenue around 11:43 p.m. on February 21st to investigate a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers found the female victim seated in the driver’s seat of her vehicle, receiving medical aid from bystanders. The suspects had already fled the scene, and the victim was transported to Mission Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The victim reported that after returning to her vehicle from the store, she was approached by three individuals who struck her in the forehead with a bottle and stole her wallet.
Through their investigation, Asheville Police identified the suspects as:
Jasmine Nikohl Lance (10/02/2001) 23-year-old white female, 5’8”, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Haley Marie Pettit (12/31/2003) 21-year-old white female, 5’4”, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Stephen Terry Ketterman Jr. (07/18/2000) 24-year-old white male, 5’9”, 160 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He has a cross tattoo on his right forearm.
All three have been charged with Felony Common Law Robbery, Felony Financial Card Theft, and Misdemeanor Assault Inflicting Serious Injury. Lance faces an additional charge of Cyberstalking.
