McDowell County -- Update on McDowell County Courthouse Bomb Threat: Law enforcement and emergency services have cleared the

McDowell County Courthouse and no threat has been found. The courthouse is back open to the public. Main Street, along with Henderson, Court and South Garden streets are also now open.
We thank the public for their patience, and all law enforcement and emergency services personnel who assisted with this morning’s incident.
