Rutherford County Man Faces Trafficking Charges

Rutherford County -- November 15, 2024: Rutherford County Sheriff's Office: On Wednesday, Investigators with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office A.C.E. Team responded to 196 Cherry Mountain Street

in Ellenboro to assist NC Department of Adult Corrections  Probation/Parole Division to assist with a search of an offender. While conducting the search of the residence Investigators found the offender, Dameon Christopher McCall, to be in possession trafficking amount of fentanyl. As a result, McCall was arrested and charged with the following:

McCall:

Trafficking Opium or Heroin
Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substance
Possess Drug Paraphernalia
McCall received a $50,000 secured bond.
