Buncombe County Sheriff's Office Search for Armed & Dangerous Suspect

Buncombe County -- July 30. 2025:  Nick D.J. Ivers is being sought by the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office.  Misdemeanor Assault on a Female Domestic Violence, Felony Possession Schedule One, and Felony Assault by Strangulation are among the active warrants against him.

It is thought that Ivers is armed and dangerous

Avoid going contact and dial 911 if located.   Ivers has been implicated in a break-in on Appian Way.  On Tuesday at approximately 12:55 p.m., BCSO arrived at a residence.  The house was cleared and our Crisis Negotiation Team and Special Response Team were sent in as a precaution.   The Asheville Police Department, SRT, CNT, and Buncombe County Emergency Services are all acknowledged by BCSO for their assistance throughout this response.
