Missing Florida Woman Last Seen Near Wesser Bald Fire Tower

Macon County -- September 24, 2024: Macon County Sheriff’s Office is looking for any information on the whereabouts of

Ms. Debra Ann Broker.

Ms. Broker was last seen the morning of September 9, camping in the area of Wesser Bald Fire Tower. She was supposed to camp in that area until September 15, and has not made contact with any loved ones. She could possibly be on the Appalachian Trail in Macon or Swain Counties. She has known addresses in Gainesville, FL and Dillsboro, NC, so she could possibly be in those areas as well.

Ms. Broker is 65 years old. She is 5’7 with blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a zip-up sherpa jacket, black leggings, socks and sandals and she could be carrying a food bag.
