Asheville -- August 22, 2024: Press Release Asheville Police Department: Detectives arrested a man on drug trafficking
charges Wednesday afternoon in west Asheville.
While conducting proactive enforcement in west Asheville, detectives made contact with Bryant DeAngelo Sanders (07/31/1993) in the 200 block of Louisiana Ave around 4:16 p.m. on August 21st.
During the arrest, Sanders was found to be in possession of a trafficking amount of fentanyl. He was charged with Trafficking in Opium or Heroin by Possession, Trafficking in Opium or Heroin by Transport, and Possession With Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II.
Sanders was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under NO BOND (ineligible for release) by a magistrate due to the Pretrial Integrity Act.
