McDowell County -- July 24, 2024: In Marion on July 18, A McDowell County deputy pulled over a car driven by 

Sarah Kirstin Greene for a traffic violation. 

A Marion Police Department K9 alerted on the car for the presence of drugs inside. Greene did not get a bond because she was already out on bond for other charges. Janet Marie Taylor, of Marion, was also charged with having methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on her. Taylor got a security bond for $5,000.


When Greene was searched, fentanyl was found, and when Taylor was searched, methamphetamine was found.
