Update on Deceased Man Found on North Fork River Drive

McDowell County -- July 5, 2024: McDowell County Sheriff's Department reported the following: The individual found

deceased on North Fork River Drive on Sunday afternoon has been identified as 51-year-old Tommy Allen Woody of Marion. An autopsy was performed on Tuesday and no injuries or obvious cause of death were found. The final results are pending drug toxicology.
