
Woman Charged with Drug Trafficking in Buncombe County
Buncombe County -- Buncombe County Sheriff's Office Press Release June 7, 2024: After a detailed investigation,
Buncombe County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Detectives arrested Sarah Swann of Buncombe County and seized 112.9 grams of methamphetamine and various drug paraphernalia. Our continued investigation resulted in two additional drug charges.
Ms. Swann was charged with:
โข Possession With Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance
โข Traffick In Methamphetamine Level III
โข Conspire Traffick Methamphetamine
Ms. Swann was placed at the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $100,000.00 bond. Additional charges may be forthcoming.
Previously, in April 2024, Sarah Swann posted a $52,000.00 bond after being placed in the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility with the following charges:
โข Breaking And/Or Entering II
โข Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
โข Larceny After Break/Enter II
โข Felony Conspiracy
โข Misdemeanor Larceny
Individuals trafficking opioids and methamphetamines continue to be a danger to our community. Targeting drug traffickers remains one of our top priorities, and the efforts of our detectives and deputies continue to save lives by removing illicit drugs from our neighborhoods and communities, stated Major Ledford of the Buncombe County Sheriffโs Office.
