Man Charged in Asheville Vehicle Collision

Asheville -- January  22, 2024: Asheville Police 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

Asheville Wednesday: Asheville Police Department Patrol Officers have charged a man following a deadly collision that occurred on January 13 that claimed the life of Andres Villeda-Arroyo, 30, of Weaverville.

Upon completion of the Asheville Police Department's investigation, along with consultation with the Buncombe County District Attorney's Office, criminal charges were brought forth on the driver, David Bernal for Misdemeanor Death by Vehicle and Reckless Driving.
