APD Search for Suspects in Business Break-In

Asheville -- September 13, 2023:  Asheville Police Department is asking for help to identify two suspects responsible for an early morning break-in of a business on Charlotte Street.

APD officers responded to a business alarm near the 130 block of Charlotte Street around 1:43 a.m. on Sept. 12. Upon arrival, officers located a shattered glass door and window. Police canvassed the inside of the business and were unable to locate the suspects.

Detectives are investigating and working with business owners. Surveillance footage from the business shows two hooded suspects, and police are hoping someone may be able to identify them.

Police say a cash drawer, money, and a safe were reported stolen.
