APD Arrest Drug Dealer in Possession of Stolen Firearm
Asheville -- June 15, 2023: In a news release on social media Wednesday, Asheville Police reported, detectives and officers with the department arrested a drug dealer in possession of a stolen firearm.
Dion Lamont Lowman, an offender on probation since April 2022, was apprehended in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and a 9mm S&W M&P Shield that had been taken from Buncombe County. In West Asheville, Lowman was found with another man, both had an outstanding warrant The two men were arrested.

-23.20g of fentanyl
-4.8g of methamphetamine
-1.5g of crack cocaine

Lowman was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $200,000.00 secured bond (or $20,000 to a bondsman) issued by the magistrate.
