Buncombe County Man Charged with Sex Offenses

Buncombe County -- June 26, 2022:  Kristopher Joseph Bellomo Sr., age 45, of Candler, has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and indecent exposure.

Additionally, Bellomo has been charged with dissemination of harmful material to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Detectives with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit arrested Bellomo on June 25, 2022. This investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.

A search warrant was executed during the course of this investigation in reference to unsolicited and inappropriate videos received by a minor. As the investigation continued and after conducting interviews and collecting evidence, additional crimes were uncovered.
