Man Arrested in Asheville on Failure to Appear in Court on Previous Gun Charge
Asheville -- June 2, 2022: Detectives and officers with the Asheville Police Department detained a man on Wednesday afternoon for failing to appear in court in connection with a previous APD arrest for weapons offences.
The arrest on Wednesday comes three months after Smith was arrested on March 3 for illegally carrying a concealed handgun with a drum magazine. The State Bureau of Investigation of North Carolina aided APD in their investigation. On the same day, Smith was freed on a $5,000 secured bail.

OFA: Unsafe Movement
OFA: No Operator’s License (two counts)
OFA: Operate Vehicle with No Insurance
OFA: Drive Motor Vehicle with No Registration
