Billie Jean King Cup in Asheville Friday and Saturday!

Asheville -- This week, Friday and Saturday,  the United States Billie Jean King Cup team will host Ukraine for the third time in five years Asheville to when it hosts Ukraine with a spot in the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Finals.  The USTA has chosen Harrah's Cherokee Center to host the qualifying tie on April 15-16.

Team USA competed at Harrah's Cherokee Center — Asheville in 2018 and 2019, when it was known as Fed Cup.
The two events, which were both World Group first-round ties in the event's previous competitive structure, generated more than $8 million in economic effect for the region and sparked an increase in grassroots tennis participation at grassroots level.
