Asheville Police Report 1 Person Dead, 1 Critical Condition in Shooting

Asheville -- January 30, at 3:38 am, the Asheville Police Department responded to the 100 block of Spruce Hill Lane to a 

report of gunshot wounds. On scene, they found Carle Lee Ellington Jr. and Stakewon Tyjai Taylor, each who had been shot multiple times. Both were transported to Mission Hospital, where Ellington succumbed to his injuries. Taylor is currently in critical condition.
