Henderson County Sheriff's Office Announce Arrest in Homicide Case

Detectives with the Henderson County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit have arrested and charged Garrett Robert Eley with two counts of 1st Degree Murder and two counts of 2nd Degree Kidnapping in relation to the incident reported at 39 Beaumont Dr on the evening of Sunday November 21st.
Garrett Robert Eley is being held in the Henderson County Detention Facility under no bond. This is still an ongoing investigation and we will provide additional updates as they become available.
HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION November 21, 2021
On Sunday November 21, 2021 at 21:32hrs the Henderson County E-911 center received a call regarding an assault with gun shots at 39 Beaumont Dr, Hendersonville.
Upon arrival of officers it was determined that two persons had been fatally shot.
Detectives from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit are currently on-scene and a person of interest has been taken into custody.
The preliminary investigation indicates that this was an isolated incident resulting from a domestic disturbance.
Sheriff Lowell Griffin would like to let the community know that this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
This investigation is in the very early stages and additional information regarding this incident will be released when details become available.
