"Helping Haywood" Disaster Recovery Due to Tropical Storm Fred

Haywood County -- Helping Haywood is starting the disaster recovery process to assist those in need after the destructive

flooding associated with the remnants of tropical system Fred. A command center has been established at the annex of Faith Community Church.

Located in the Industrial Park in Waynesville near the High Tech Center:

Items being collected include, but are not limited to:
clothing
non-perishable food
water, and other items
We are focused on aiding those who have been severely impacted or displaced by the floods. We are also accepting volunteers and care team members who would like to aid in distribution of items, and conduct small recovery construction projects.
