Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Homicide in Candler

Candler, NC -- Buncombe County Sheriff's Office Monday July 26, 2021 

Buncombe County Sheriff's Office reported a man was shot and killed in Candler, NC outside his home. 

The shooting happened around midnight Monday. The victim is identified as Joshua Silvers, age 27.

Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Homicide in Candler
(July 26, 2021) –
The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office has opened a homicide investigation into a shooting death that took place on Davis Drive in Candler shortly after midnight on July 26th. Joshua Silvers, age 27, was shot and killed outside the residence.
The Sheriff’s Office Major Case Unit is leading this active investigation.
Next of kin to Mr. Silvers have been notified of his passing.
