Details:
On June 7, 2021, a Burke County Sheriff’s Office Deputy observed a motorcycle accelerating at a high rate of speed on Main Ave. West, in Hildebran. As the deputy was catching up with the motorcycle for approximately ½ mile, the motorcycle operator tossed a firearm on the side of the road. The operator, Neal Ray Hildebran, stopped and was taken into custody. The discarded firearm was recovered and Hildebran was taken before the Magistrate. He was served with the above charges, issued a $10,000 secured bond, and held at the Burke County Jail with a first court appearance of June 8, 2021.
