Girl's Act of Kindness: Gift to Asheville Police

Asheville -- How Nice! Asheville Police posted the following on their Facebook page today! Kudos to the little girl for such a thoughtful act of kindness! 

March 31, 2021 

Officers recently received this bag from a little girl at Walmart on Airport Rd. and a note that read:
“Dear officer, thank you for all you do to keep us safe! Please accept this bag, as my way of saying thank you and I appreciate all you do! A bottle of water, in case you get thirsty! A bottle of Coke, if you need a pick me up. Peanut butter crackers and a bag of chips, for when you get hungry. Some candy to satisfy a sweet tooth. Tissues, if you need to blow your nose or wipe your tears! Hand sanitizer for all the yuck out there. A poncho so you can dance in the rain. Please stay safe and know you are love.”
