Community Investment News Volunteers Needed to Help Shape Community Investments
Buncombe County -- Buncombe County Government Community News: Buncombe County is seeking volunteers with a unique
perspective on community-based initiatives to serve on the Tipping Point Grant review team. The team is made up of nine volunteers who are appointed annually based on a submitted applications. The review team analyze grant applications against specific criteria and recommend awards for these community-based, innovative grants.
A virtual orientation meeting will occur in January. The application review process will occur between February and April. There will be opportunities to meet throughout the year to connect with grantees and monitor progress.

Tipping Point grants are small nonprofit grants aimed at catalyzing existing efforts in our community by strengthening current programs or facilitating creation of new projects.
