Forest City Christmas
The Town of Forest City is honored to continue the tradition of over one million Christmas lights along historic Main Street in 2020.
Voted the #1 Christmas town in the greater Asheville, NC area and the #2 place to see Christmas lights in Western North Carolina by RomanticAsheville.com, the Town of Forest City welcomes folks from far and near each year to see the famous lights and experience the Hometown Holiday festivities.
On Thanksgiving Night, Mayor Steve Holland will host a live broadcast from the studio of WAGY Radio 107.5FM. The lights will be turned on at 6pm with Mayor Holland and his special guest conducting the countdown. Speakers will be set up along Main Street and inside POPS. People driving through are encouraged to tune into WAGY Radio 107.5FM. Folks can also watch the lights come on via the Town’s webcam at www.townofforestcity.com.
