How to resolve AdBlock issue? 
Asheville -- Asheville Humane Society -- April 24, 2020: Our Community Solutions team had their first no-contact supply drive-thru this week!
Essential staff have also been doing porch deliveries of supplies to pet families here in our community who have no transportation, as well as to seniors and those who are immunocompromised so they don't have to leave the safety of their homes.
We're beginning to see a lot of pet families facing unexpected job losses and hardships related to COVID-19 that just need a little help to get by. Callers to our Safety Net Helpline let us know if they are in need of essential supplies such as pet food, flea/tick preventative or cat litter. We then invite them to come to our drive-thru where we load their prepared box or bag of supplies into their vehicle.
We are so grateful for Asheville Humane Society's Community Solutions Program, preventing the unnecessary surrender of animals to the Shelter. Our staff are working hard each day to keep cherished pets with their families, safe in loving homes where they belong!
