McDowell County --   The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Arrie Hoover Worley, 43, of Marion, with felony Breaking and/or Entering and misdemeanor Resisting a Public Officer.

 He was denied bond due to the domestic-related charge.
 

On Tuesday, June 3, deputies responded to a residence in Marion after receiving a call about a breaking and entering incident.  The victim stated that Worley had broken into her home by removing an air conditioning unit and entering through a window. 

Deputies located Worley at another nearby residence, and he was taken into custody after a brief altercation and foot chase.

Editor's Note: A  criminal charge is an accusation, by law, a person accused of a crime is innocent until proven in a court of law.
